Historian Simon Schaffer tells the stories behind some of the most extraordinary engineering wonders of the 19th century. This documentary poses questions that still resonate today - will the machines we build save us, replace us or even destroy us?
Mechanical Monsters
How did John Hughes capture the growing pains of adolescence so perfectly? Why do his films resonate with those that grew up with them, and those that have just discovered them? This doc answers all.
Don't You Forget About Me
These are the sermons of a church plant in the communities of Pullman Washington and Moscow Idaho; a new gathering of Jesus followers, sharing and remembering a story of rescue that took place thousands of years ago. This is a story that never grows young but never gets old. These words are the fabric of our process, the teaching and learning of our journey, and the beauty of life lived together.

In this podiobook: "Ordinary teens become extraordinary in this thrilling tale of good versus evil...Skillfully written, this novel will captivate teens, including reluctant readers." -- Publishers Weekly. The Demon Queen and The Locksmith is a 2010 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Semifinalist.Kevin panicked when his ears began to buzz. He couldn't be a Hearer. The Hearers were the town freaks. Worse, his dad was one of them, and Kevin's greatest fear was that one day he might turn into his father. In Turquoise, New Mexico, some people believe that the mountain north of town emits a constant, resonant hum that is audible only to a chosen few. They are called Hearers, and fourteen-year-old Kevin Brown has never trusted them. But when a carefree afternoon with his friends comes to a surprise finish at the spot where Kevin spread his mother's ashes only a year before, a place where the open air seems to resonate in kevin's ears, he realizes he might be a Hearer too, and "The Turquoise Hum" might be much more than a sound.

Most people put family on the top of the priority list when asked, but the truth is it almost always falls dead last in order of real time and thought spent.
In each episode Maureen and Beth will explore what it means to get your Family Balancing Act, well balanced. We are all trying to find balance in our lives and the lives of those we surround ourselves with. Families are each so different. There isn’t one like another. Just like the individuals that belong to them. We are each a reflection of our family and they of us. Each member or cog in the wheel should be there to support the whole wheel. Yet, when a cog is out of balance the wheel doesn’t rotate as it should, it’s out of balance. You could end up with a flat or a broken axel.
Does this resonate with you? Whether you are a parent, child or a grandparent, each of us comes from some sort of family. Each has it’s own tempo and energy. Families are a living breathing entity that needs to be nurtured. Take a look at yours and yourself.
The Family Balancing Act with Maureen Huntley
1. January 18, 2009 Cacophony, a mainstream tribal set that should resonate well with all the hot shirtless men.

Derrick Strand is a management consultant, trainer and speaker that has over 20 years of experience in management consulting with industry and government.
Derrick is not your typical management consultant. He spends most of his time helping companies get rid of him.
It is his philosophy that companies have most of the answers already inside of their business and inside the minds of their people. The question then becomes, "Why aren't more companies capitalizing on the power of their people?"
