One World Report is a weekly, community-centered, hour-long news and public affairs show produced by KBCS volunteers. The show airs Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.
One World Report seeks:
To shed light on matters of social, economic and environmental justice.
To further understanding of racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of oppression.
To investigate the conditions for creating a peaceful and just society.
One World Report places priority on producing local, state and regional stories about issues, ideas and people not often represented in the mainstream media. We focus our energies on the local impacts of national and international events, and on the concerns of marginalized and under-served people in our community.
We also aim to reclaim the airwaves for the benefit of the community and turn the power of the media over to the people.
