The venture will produce 20 duets - musical conversations - with a diverse array of guest including Hank Jones, Angélique Kidjo, Roy Hargrove, George Duke, Chick Corea, Wynton Marsalis, Russell Malone, Eddie Palmieri, Sting and others. The duets’ actual conversational accompaniment will be featured in a series of podcasts, usually with exclusive pictures or video. The musical accompaniment will be available at iTunes.

Dr. Chao-Jan Chang has a distinguished career as an international composer. He was born in Taiwan and resided in USA in 1992. His chamber and electronic music works have been performed throughout the U.S. and Asia by many professional well-known groups, such as Moscow's Studio New Music Ensemble, Dinosaur Annex and Forum Music. In 2007, Warner Music and Better Music Recordings released his first CD album, Love Secrets, which features 4 of his chamber and electro-acoustic music compositions. He has also written music for traditional Chinese instrument ensemble and stage works which were performed in the Taiwan National Theater and Concert Hall.
After receiving his doctoral degree in composition, he taught electronic music at Boston University. He is the founder of ModernMusician.com, which is the largest Chinese musician website in the world with more than thirty thousand registered musicians worldwide. As an influential Music critic, he writes extensively on both classical and popular music in Audio City Magazine. Chang is also a fellow artist of MacDowell and Yaddo Artist Colonies.
Besides music, his passion includes fine food, collecting instruments, meditation, nature, hiking, traveling, tai-chi, art and photography.
